FAQ

Is there parking at the reception?
Yes. Churchill's Barn has ample parking on site, and you are welcome to leave your car overnight and collect it the next day.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Plus-ones are named on your invitation. If one is included, the name will appear when you RSVP. Otherwise we are keeping it to invited guests only, and we thank you for understanding.
Are children welcome?
We are inviting children by family rather than as a blanket rule. Your invitation lists exactly who is included, and when you RSVP you will see everyone in your party by name.
What should I wear?
Semi-formal. Dressing your best is encouraged — suits and jackets, or a dress at whatever length you feel good in. Please save the short-sleeve button-downs for another weekend, and bring a layer for the sea breeze after dark.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony begins at 1:00pm. Please aim to be seated by 12:45pm.
Is there a gap between the ceremony and the reception?
A short one. The ceremony ends around 2:15pm and York is about a half hour from Exeter, so head straight over — cocktails begin at 3:30pm.
